Sharing God's Grace in Mexico

Grace. The online dictionary defines it as “the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.” Since “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23), God’s offer of grace truly is good news that everyone in the world needs to hear and receive.

 

Javier Adame, one of GCOC’s mission partners, has dedicated the past three decades of his life to sharing God’s grace with the people of Chihuahua, Mexico. Through his steady, consistent efforts of preaching, teaching, conducting home Bible studies, hosting special events, and training leaders, new churches have been planted and God’s kingdom has grown in that city. His devoted service to the Lord has meant the difference between eternal life and death for many people in Mexico.

 

During the past year, Javier has experienced some difficulties with his eyesight, but he has not allowed those struggles to impede his work. His attitude and outlook are mirrored in these words of the apostle Paul, “I don’t care about my own life. The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me – to tell people the Good News about God’s grace” (Acts 20:24, NCV).

 

May we continue to support Javier’s ministry through our prayers, financial gifts, and encouragement in the months ahead.
