Service Opportunity – Every other Monday, starting this Monday, August 15, come join us at the Christian Service Center at 9:00am for coffee and donuts, then stay and help unload the food truck from Tarrant County Food Bank.

 

Save the Date for Newcomer Ladies’ Supper - Sara Blevins will host the  newcomer ladies’ supper on Thursday, August 25.

 

Children’s Ministry

First Grade Bibles - Next Sunday, August 21, the church will present Bibles to all of our first graders. If you have a first grader you would like included in the presentation, please contact Tyler Wiggains at twiggains@granbury coc.net or call the church office.

 

Teacher Training - Sunday, August 14 - 5:00-8:00pm in the Children’s Worship Room for those who have signed up to work in the Children’s Ministry for the 2016-2017 school year. Dinner will be provided, as well as childcare, if needed. Please contact Tyler Wiggains at 903-327-2195 or  if you cannot attend or need childcare.

 

Wedding Shower

Come and Go Shower for Kate Wasemiller, daughter of Gene and Kitty Wasemiller on Saturday, August 27, from 10:00am - 11:30am at the Waterview Clubhouse, 101 Watermark Blvd. (gate will be open).  Selections at Target, Dillards, Bed, Bath & Beyond.

 

Only one more week left for Sweet Summer Fellowship!!

Throughout the summer many have enjoyed Sweet Summer Fellowship following the devotional service on Wednesday nights. This fellowship has helped us build friendship ties and enjoy desserts in the Parlor and Fellowship Center. Our Sunday classes have provided sweets for us to share together as we visit with old and new friends. This week, August 17, is For Heaven’s Cake. Come join us as we praise God and fellowship with one another!

 

Wednesday Nights This Summer

     Wednesday evenings this summer have truly been a blessing! This Wednesday, August 17, we will move to the Worship Center for the final evening of Wednesday Summer Praise. Fall classes will begin August 24. More details to come.
