Larry’s Diner - 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. The White Plate Special this week includes Chopped Steak and Brown Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Rolls, Salad, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1 per item.

 

Free Service Provided – John Knox is completing a degree in mental health counseling from Lubbock Christian University. This semester he is offering free counseling services as a part of his practicum. If you know an adult or adolescent who could benefit from counseling, contact John at  or the church office (817-573-2613).

 

Service Opportunity – This Monday, September 12, come join us at the Christian Service Center at 9:00am for coffee and donuts, then stay and help unload the food truck from Tarrant County Food Bank.

 

Ladies’ Class this fall will meet from 9:30-11:00am on Wednesday mornings in Room 5.  We will study Priscilla Shirer's book and video series titled The Armor of God.  I am very excited about this study as it reminds us of the tools God has given us to use as we battle Satan and his influences.  We will be challenged to put these blessings to use in our daily walk. So join us, Wednesday mornings at 9:30am in Room 5.  s/ Marsha Gilbert.

 

Foster’s Home Change Cans - Available on the information tables. Pick up a can, fill it with spare change, and return it to the church office by December 1. 

 

Foster’s Home Workday – September 13 - Meet at the church building at 8:15am, travel to Foster’s Home and work for the houseparents cooking, etc. Bring a sack lunch. The van will return around 2:30pm. If you plan to go this month to help, please call Glenda Fry at 817-573-3244.
