Wedding Shower

Honoring Donica Martin and Mark Sawyer – Sunday, May 19, 2:00-4:00pm at the home of Sara Blevins (4820 N. Woodcreek Dr.). They are registered at Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Foster’s Home Workday – Tuesday, May 14 – Meet at the church building at 8:15am, travel to Foster’s Home and work for the houseparents cooking, etc. The group will eat out for lunch, then return around 2:30pm. If you plan to go help this month, call Barbara Tennison (254-744-4919) or Ruthie Hudson (817-326-3189).

 

Wednesday Night Diner – 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. This week’s menu includes Chicken Express Tenders, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Salad Bar, Cookie and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1. Proceeds go toward scholarships for youth group activities.

 

Youth Service Projects – Contact Scotty Weaver ( or 817-573-2613) if you need help with a project at your home.

Game Day – Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.

 

Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry Meeting – Sunday, May 19, at 9:00am in the Worship Center. This meeting is for parents, teachers and anyone interested in the Children’s Ministry. We will be looking at the last year with time for Q&A, discussing goals for the next year, and announcing a few summer dates. We will also get a sneak peek inside of our classrooms. If you have been curious about getting involved, or would simply like to know what our Children’s Ministry is about, then this meeting is for you!
