Give Online Prayer | |||||||
One of the ideas that came out of a recent meeting of GCOC deacons and ministry leaders was to publicly feature a different ministry each month to increase our awareness of various areas where we can participate and serve in God’s kingdom. So we will begin this month by promoting our Life Group Ministry.
Life groups are small groups of 8-12 people per group who meet together on a regular basis for the purpose of bonding together with Christians and receiving spiritual nurture through singing, prayer, Bible study, sharing personal concerns and struggles, and eating a meal together in a home environment. Some groups get together 3-4 weeks a month; others meet about every other week. Some gather at the same home each time, and others move from house to house. Most meet on Sunday afternoons or evenings. The groups take place at various locations around the county, which currently include Meander Estates, Spanish Trail, Pecan Plantation, Waterview, and the north side Granbury.
Everyone is encouraged to join an existing group or even launch a new group. For more information about the Life Group ministry, contact Kirk Woolery.
