Welcome to the Granbury Church of Christ! If you are a first time visitor, you will soon discover that many of our members have been with us for less than 5 years. You will be warmly embraced. There is a place for you!
We love to eat and enjoy each other’s company! Join us for coffee, tea, milk or juice, and sweets in the Fellowship Center (fancy name for gym) before Bible Class.
At 9:00am on Sunday morning, we offer Bible Classes for all ages.
For adults, we have a wide range of classes for all adults and encourage “shopping around” to find the class that fits you best. We’ll help guide you to explore the different styles of teaching offered. Classes study the Bible in a systematic way to help you get a better depth of understanding and wisdom. Click here for a listing of adult classes.
For children, we have specially designed, age-appropriate classes for 2-year-olds through high school, all in specifically designed spaces to capture your children’s imagination and their hearts for Jesus! We have an attended nursery during all classes and during the worship service Sunday morning for all infants through 3-year-olds.
Worship service is held in Worship Center (sanctuary) where you'll hear a blend of modern music and traditional hymns. Our ministers preach the Scriptures each Sunday faithfully to the text and in a way that is applicable to our daily lives. Prayer is an important feature of our worship service.
Infants through 3-year-olds are welcome in our attended nursery. We also have a changing, rocking, and private nursing area just off the Worship Center.
For older children, kids' worship bags are provided to give them quiet, hands-on activities to do as they learn and grow in their worship to God. Our church strongly believes in families worshiping together.
Services last about 75 minutes. During the school year we host a luncheon for our guests and new members on the first Sunday of each month following the morning worship service.
On Wednesday evenings, there are a rotation of classes and programs throughout the year for adults and children alike. Service lasts approximately 1 hour.
Here in Granbury, we like to use landmarks. We are directly across the street from Granbury High School. Our address is 1905 West Pearl St. Granbury, Texas 76048. Click here for to see a map for directions.
Anything from jeans to formal attire is common. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, and you’ll fit right in.
As a visitor, you are not expected to participate in giving. We believe that the church is supported by the offerings of its members.
Our Mission Statement best describes who we are trying to be. We want to follow Christ to the Glory of God by:
We know we are far from perfect, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). For this very reason, we come together to “encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
