WBS: Making Connections that Share Jesus

To share the Good News of Jesus with the world using everyday Christians and interactive Bible studies.

This simple, straightforward mission statement from World Bible School (WBS) perfectly describes this effective ministry which utilizes average church members like you and me to teach the gospel to people around the world through correspondence courses. WBS teachers also help connect their students with churches in their area where they can be baptized and be a part of a local church. Thousands of people are brought to Christ each year through this ministry.

There are several ways you can support WBS:

Join the group of GCOC members who volunteer as teachers for WBS (contact Bob McMillan, the deacon who coordinates WBS here, at ).

Give to GCOC’s Harvest Mission fund on November 8 which provides postage and supplies for this work.

Attend the WBS Benefit Dinner on October 8, 6:30pm, at the Radisson Hotel Fort Worth Fossil Creek (RSVP by October 1 at www.worldbibleschool.net/events or call 800-311-2006).
