First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Ambassadors, Journey and Climbers classes invite visitors and new members who have placed membership since November 2014 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center Sunday, November 1, immediately following the 10:45 worship service. Dino and Mata Tzanetos, our mission partners in Greece, plan to attend the luncheon, so anyone who would like an opportunity to visit with them is also invited to come.

 

Thank you to the members of the Challengers class for preparing food and feeding the workers at Habitat for Humanity this past Saturday, October 24. s/Florence Franks

 

Carter BloodCare will be receiving donors in the Fellowship Center on Sunday, November 8, from 9:00am – 12:00pm.

 

Wednesday Night Diner – November 4, 5:00pm - 6:00pm. The White Plate special includes Salisbury Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Salad, Roll, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu or Salad is also available for $1 per item.

 

Youth News

The family work day scheduled for last Sunday has been rescheduled this Sunday, November 1. Van departs from the church building at 2:30pm, and will return around 6:30pm. Be sure to wear your work clothes. Contact Michael if you have questions.

Encounter LE - On November 20-22, the high school students are invited to Encounter LE at LCU in Lubbock. You can sign up at www.lcucamps.com. Make sure you register under Granbury Church of Christ. The cost for this event will be $25 per teen (for hotel rooms). More information to come.
