Santa Cops

Officers with the Granbury Police Dept. are growing beards again this year in an effort to raise funds for Kids’ Armor of Hope. As you know, Kids’ Armor funds and hosts Royal Family Kids’ Camp for abused and neglected children every June. The same group of children are also treated to a Christmas party each year. The Santa Cops, with their beards, actually help host the party, as well as raise funds.

You can give your contribution to Officer Jon Whitefield, Sgt. Michael Holly, or the department’s chaplain, John Knox. There is competition among the beard growers for the most funds raised. Just remember that John controls the length of sermons….
