Combined Adult Bible Class – Next Sunday, June 5, in the Fellowship Center. Stan Reid will be our guest speaker for the 9:00am Bible class and the 10:15am worship assembly.

 

Wednesday Class Location Change – Due to renovation in the Worship Center, the Wednesday night class entitled, Islam: The Quran and Christianity, led by Billy Martin, will move to the Fellowship Center for the last two weeks of class – May 25 and June 1. To facilitate discussion, participants are asked to sit in the front center section.

 

60th Anniversary – A casual Come and Go Celebration, honoring Don and Sue Conder at 6011 77th St., Lubbock, TX 79424. Save the date, Saturday, June 25, from 2:00pm-4:00pm. No gifts please; guest book and basket will be available. Cards are welcome. Please address cards to Don and Sue Conder at the above address if you are unable to attend.

 

Piecemakers Quilting Bee – May 31, from 4:00pm-8:00pm, at the Christian Service Center. Bring your own supper. Experience is not necessary. Time is spent working together piecing quilts to be donated. If you have questions, contact Betty Curbo, Becky Roberts or Jamie Skelton.

 

Gift Card Wedding Shower

Honoring Abigail Tunick and Calvin Lyman (son of Jason and Jennifer Lyman). Due to time constraints, the couple will not be able to attend a shower event here, so the plan is to give gift cards that can be easily transported. You may give your gift cards to Margaret Sawyer, Ginger McCall, or Jo Shelton, or bring them by the church office by June 30. The couple is registered at Kohls and Target, and would also welcome Walmart and restaurant gift cards.
