Wednesday Night Diner – 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. This week’s menu includes Joe’s Pizza, Chips, Salad Bar, Cookie and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1. Proceeds go toward scholarships for youth group activities.

 

Donations Needed! The Light Walkers class (5th & 6th grade) is running a Boxed Cereal Drive to benefit Foster’s Home for Children. If you would like to help, please drop off donations in the bins located near all the major entrances. All cereal brands and flavors are welcome. For more information, please contact Tammy Asbill, Susie Wright or Marlita Windham.

 

First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Victory class, Elders, and Deacons invite guests and new members who have placed membership since April 2018 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center on Sunday, April 7, right after the 10:15 worship service.

 

Foster’s Home Workday – Tuesday, April 9 – Meet at the church building at 8:15am, travel to Foster’s Home and work for the houseparents cooking, etc. Bring a sack lunch. The van will return around 2:30pm. If you plan to go help this month, call Barbara Tennison (254-744-4919) or Ruthie Hudson (817-326-3189).

 

LTC Parent Meeting – Wednesday, April 17, 7:30pm in the Teen Center

 

Spring Fling – Attention Widows and Widowers: Saturday, April 27, will be the annual luncheon hosted by the Victory class in your honor, 11:30am – 1:00pm at Spring Creek BBQ. Please RSVP to Tina in the church office (817-573-2613) by April 15.

 

Member nametags that were not picked up during the Ray Vander Laan weekend have been placed in our members’ respective Sunday Bible classes or on a table in the front foyer. Please stop by and pick yours up. All members are encouraged to wear their nametags at our assemblies each week.

Game Day – Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.

 

Connections Group

Fifth Sunday Group will meet March 31, at 6:00pm at the home of Yvonne Rosenquist. Everyone is invited to attend. We will have a guest speaker. Bring finger foods and come to meet, greet and fellowship!
