Free Service Provided – John Knox is completing a degree in mental health counseling from Lubbock Christian University. This semester he is offering free counseling services as a part of his practicum. If you know an adult or adolescent who could benefit from counseling, contact John at  or the church office (817-573-2613).

 

First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Elders and the Neighbors, Encouragers, and Faith-Builders classes invite visitors and new members who have placed membership since October 2015 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center on Sunday, October 2, immediately following the worship service.

 

Well, it is that time again. If you are available to help Monday, September 26th there will be a truck to unload. The truck usually arrives around 10:00 am. Thanks, James Parker
 

Larry’s Diner -Wednesday, September 28, 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. The White Plate Special includes Baked Chicken, Roasted Potatoes, Carrots, Rolls, Salad, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1 per item. All profits go toward scholarships for GCOC youth camps and retreats.

 

Piecemakers Quilting Bee - September 27, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the CSC to work together on donation quilts. Bring your own dinner.  Come when you can and leave when you must.

 

Connections Group

The Sawyer Group will meetthis Sunday, September 25, at 6:00pm at the home of John and Terry Webb, 1509 Lady Amber Ln., for a potluck dinner. Everyone is invited to attend.

Honoring Caitlyn (McCoy) Goodwin today from 1:30-3:00pm at the Granbury Church of Christ Parlor. Caitlyn is expecting a boy and is registered at Buy Buy Baby & Target.

 

Sympathy

To the family of Ouida Campbell, who recently passed away.  Memorial services was held Saturday, September 17.
