Announcements    

Wednesday Night Diner – 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. This week’s menu includes Chick Fil A Sandwich, Chips, Salad Bar, Cookie and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1 per item. Proceeds go toward scholarships for youth group activities.

 

Magi Project – Thank you for collecting gift items and school supplies to pack in the gift boxes for children in Africa this Christmas. Please fill and return the boxes by Sunday, October 8. Bibles furnished by the church will be added to the boxes before shipping.

 

Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Neighbors and Faith-Builders classes invite guests and new members who have placed membership since October 2016 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center Sunday, October 8, immediately following the 10:15 worship service.

 

Foster’s Home Workday – Tuesday, October 10 – Meet at the church building at 8:15am, travel to Foster’s Home and work for the houseparents cooking, etc. Bring a sack lunch. The van will return around 2:30pm. If you plan to go and help this month, please call Glenda Fry at 817-573-3244.

 

Missing Item – An ecru tablecloth is missing from the church bridal storage room. If you borrowed it, please return it to the church office.

 

Free Service Provided – John Knox and Rachel Rouse are offering free counseling services as a part of their degree and licensing programs. If you know someone who could benefit from counseling, contact John at  or the church office (817-573-2613), or Rachel at 806-438-8919.

Game and Potluck Day – Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.

 

Children’s Ministry

Children’s Musical Parent Meeting – This Sunday, October 1, at 10:00am in the Parlor for parents of kindergarten – 5th grade children interested in participating in the Christmas musical.
