Mission of the Month - Casa de la Esperanza

Thanks from Casa

Casa de la Esperanza – House of Hope – is a special place in Anahuac, Mexico where God is at work, healing and nurturing children who have been rescued from a life of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Last week, GCOC received the following message of thanks from Gil Sanchez, the Executive Director of Casa.

 

February has arrived, the month when even the secular world celebrates love. At Casa, we are so grateful for those of you who practice loving your neighbor. We are witness to this love of yours because it stretches all the way to Mexico, as you so generously support the children and the work that continues day by day at Casa de la Esperanza and in our nearby community. There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for your vital partnership with us in God’s work at Casa. We could not continue without your love, prayers, and support. The children are blessed in many ways by your kindness and intercession. May the Lord be with you, and may you know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, how wide and long and deep and high it is.

 

May we all continue to support and pray for this tremendous work of love.
