Thank You

Tuesday evening Helping Hands gathered with 25 individuals from the food pantry. We all enjoyed demos and food prepared in crockpots by 9 ladies of the congregation. The attendees then received the recipes and a crockpot. There was much appreciation for the gifts and the fellowship. Thanks to all who made this possible.

 

Announcements

No Larry’s Diner on Wednesday, November 23, due to the Thanksgiving  holidays.

Community Thanksgiving Service – tonight at 6:00pm at the Generations Church of Granbury (5718 E Hwy 377). This Christian community event is being hosted by the Ministerial Alliance. There will be no service at GCOC this evening.

 

You are invited to a Christmas Concert presented by the Paluxy River Community Band (which includes several GCOC members) on Tuesday, November 29, at 7:30pm at Brazos Covenant Ministries (1950 Acton Hwy – old Hwy 4 past Big Lots). Admission is free; however, donations are accepted.

 

All ladies are invited to our annual Christmas party at the home of Susan Blevins on Thursday, December 1, at 6:30pm. Please bring a finger food to share, and we will eat together. Also, if you would like, bring a $10 gift to exchange after the meal. Hope you can come!

 

Free Service Provided – John Knox and Rachel Rouse are offering free counseling services as a part of their degree and licensing programs. If you know someone who could benefit from counseling, contact John at jknox@ granbury coc.net or the church office 817-573-2613, or Rachel at 806-438-8919.
