Piecemakers Quilting Bee will not meet in December.

 

Service Opportunity – GCOC and the Christian Service Center are sponsoring the Community Mobile Food Pantry on Friday, January 4, from 8:00-10:30am at First United Methodist Church on FM 51 N.  Volunteers are needed to staff this effort. Contact Jonna Eccles () if you can help.

 

First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Neighbors class and the Elders and Deacons invite guests and new members who have placed membership since January 2018 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center on Sunday, January 6, immediately following the 10:15 worship service.

 

Foster’s Home Workday – Tuesday, January 8 – Meet at the church building at 8:15am, travel to Foster’s Home and work for the houseparents cooking, etc. Bring a sack lunch. The van will return around 2:30pm. If you plan to go help this month, call Glenda Fry at 817-573-3244.

 

Wednesday Morning Ladies’ Bible Class will resume January 9, 9:30-11:00am, in Room 5. We will begin a new study called, Touched by Jesus: Life-Changing Encounters from the Gospel of John, taught by Jan Knox. Hope you’ll join us!

 

Ray Vander Laan Seminar – February 15-17, 2019 at the Granbury Church of Christ. Cost is $20 per person. Register now at www.granburycoc.net before it fills up!

Game Day – Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.
