Magi Project – Thank you for collecting gift items and school supplies to pack in the gift boxes for children in Africa this Christmas.  Empty boxes will be available for pick-up in the gym this Sunday, September 24. Please fill and return the boxes to the gym by Sunday, October 8. Bibles furnished by the church will be added to the boxes before shipping.

 

Piecemakers Quilting Bee – Tuesday, September 26, from 4:00pm-8:00pm, at the Christian Service Center. Bring your own supper. Experience is not necessary. Time is spent working together piecing quilts to be donated. If you have questions, contact Betty Curbo or Jamie Skelton.

 

Wednesday Night Diner – 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. This week’s menu includes Chick Fil A Sandwich, Chips, Salad Bar, Cookie and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1 per item. Proceeds go toward scholarships for youth group activities.

 

Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Neighbors and Faith-Builders classes invite guests and new members who have placed membership since October 2016 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center Sunday, October 8, immediately following the 10:15 worship service.

 

Free Service Provided – John Knox and Rachel Rouse are offering free counseling services as a part of their degree and licensing programs. If you know someone who could benefit from counseling, contact John at  or the church office (817-573-2613), or Rachel at 806-438-8919.

 

Connections Groups

The Sawyer Group will meet Sunday, September 24, at 6:00pm at the Sawyer home for a potluck dinner. Everyone is invited to attend.

Game and Potluck Day – Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.
