Baby Shower

Announcements    

First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Challengers and Victory classes invite guests and new members who have placed membership since December 2016 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center on Sunday, December 3, immediately following the 10:15 worship service.

 

Wednesday Night Diner – 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. This week’s menu includes Firehouse Subs, Soup, Salad Bar, Chips, Cookie and Drink for $5. Chicken nuggets are available for children for $1. Proceeds go toward scholarships for youth group activities.

 

All ladies are invited to our annual Christmas party at the home of Mike and Susan Blevins, 601 East Woodcreek Ct. on Thursday, December 14, at 6:30pm. Please bring a finger food to share and, if you would like, a $10 gift to exchange. Plan on a great night of fellowship and fun!

 

Piecemakers Quilting Bee will not meet in December.

 

Free Service Provided – Rachel Rouse is offering free counseling services as a part of her licensing program. If you know someone who could benefit from counseling, contact Rachel at 806-438-8919.

Game and Potluck Day – Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.

 

New Sunday Adult Bible Class

On Sunday, December 3, a new adult Bible class will begin meeting in Room 16 (the former bridal room next to the Climbers class). The class is open to everyone, but will primarily target people in the 40 – 60 year age range. Mark Hackney will serve as the teacher for the winter quarter. Connections Groups

New Year’s Eve Connections Group will meet Sunday, December 31, at 6:00pm at the home of Yvonne Rosenquist. Everyone is invited to attend. Bring a potluck dish or finger foods and come to meet, greet and fellowship! Kirk Woolery will be the guest speaker.

 

The Sawyer Group will not meet in December.
