Wednesday Night Diner – 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. This week’s menu includes Joe’s Pizza, Chips, Salad Bar, Cookie and Drink for $5. Chicken nuggets are also available for $1. Proceeds go toward scholarships for youth group activities.
RFKC Staff – All staff applications for Royal Family Kids’ Camp are due now. Staff (especially relief counselors) are still needed, so if you are interested in helping with this year’s camp, which will take place June 11-15, please contact Mark Hackney or Kylee Peterson.
No Piecemakers Quilting Bee this month due to the Memorial Day holiday.
Help Needed! Foster’s Home is planning a work day on Friday, June 1, to clean up the grounds in preparation for their special dedication the next day. The work includes mowing, trimming, picking up debris, etc. If you can help, please contact John Webb at or 817-578-3810.
You’re invited to the dedication of the addition to the Mabee Health Education and Services Center at Foster’s Home at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 2. Included in the dedication will be the Gene & Charmaine Boone Administrative Suite. Come and celebrate the completion of the first major project of their Vision 2020 capital campaign.
Donations Needed! The Hood County Sheriff’s Office is hosting an Action Against Hunger Food Drive on Sunday, June 3, 9:00am – 2:00pm, at the Granbury Wal-Mart Supercenter. All food donations will be given to the Christian Service Center.
Ladies’ Newcomer Dinner – Tuesday, June 5, at 6:30pm at the home of Nelda Coonrod, 6117 Laredo Ct. in DeCordova. The dinner is for all ladies who have become members in the last year. Chicken casseroles will be provided, and the committee members are asked to furnish sides and desserts. Please ask someone to ride with you, and come for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship!
