He was born in Baghdad, Iraq to a traditional Muslim family, served in the Iraq Republican Guard, found a Bible, read it in secret, and became a Christian – in Iraq.

 

Then he came to America, studied at the Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock Texas, and now has a successful ministry to the largest Muslim community in the U.S. in Dearborn, Michigan…two blocks from the most radical mosque in the Western Hemisphere.

 

Wissam Al-Aethawi is coming to Texas next month to share his story as the featured guest at the annual dinners for SIBI in the DFW area.
