All ladies are invited to our annual Christmas party at the home of Susan Blevins on Thursday, December 1, at 6:30pm. Please bring a finger food to share, and we will eat together. Also, if you would like, bring a $10 gift to exchange after the meal. Hope you can come!

 

First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Challengers and United in Christ classes invite visitors and new members who have placed membership since December 2015 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center on Sunday, December 4, immediately following the 10:15am worship service.

 

Larry’s Diner -Wednesday, November 30, 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. The White Plate Special includes Beef Stew, Corn Bread, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1 per item. All profits go toward scholarships to help GCOC youth attend camps and retreats.

 

The Sawyer Connections Group will not meet this month.

 

You are invited to a Christmas Concert presented by the Paluxy River Community Band (which includes several GCOC members) on Tuesday, November 29, at 7:30pm at Brazos Covenant Ministries (1950 Acton Hwy – old Hwy 4 past Big Lots). Admission is free; however donations are accepted.

 

Help Needed! The 2016 Children’s Musical is coming up December 11, and we need your help! We are asking for our members to look through their holiday decorations for extra strands of clear twinkle lights with green wiring. If you have extra lights or would like to donate a box or two of new lights, we are collecting them in the Teachers’ Workroom. Thanks –The Children’s Ministry Team
