First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Ambassadors, Journey and Climbers classes invite visitors and new members who have placed membership since November 2014 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center Sunday, November 1, immediately following the 10:45 worship service. Dino and Mata Tzanetos, our mission partners in Greece, will be here that morning and plan to attend the luncheon, so anyone who would like an opportunity to visit with them is also invited to come.

Piecemakers Quilting Bee – Tuesday, October 27, from 4:00pm-8:00pm, at the Christian Service Center. Bring your own supper. Experience is not necessary. Time is spent working together piecing quilts to be donated. If you have questions, contact Betty Curbo, Becky Roberts or Jamie Skelton.

Wednesday Night Diner - October 28, 5:00pm - 6:00pm. The White Plate special includes Pork Chops, Scalloped Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Salad, Roll, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu or Salad is also available for $1 per item.

 

Youth News

The family work day scheduled for today has been rescheduled for NEXT SUNDAY, November 1, due to the weather. Everything will stay the same (lunch, departure time, etc.) Contact Michael if you have questions.

Encounter LE - On November 20-22, the high school students are invited to Encounter LE at LCU in Lubbock. You can sign up at www.lcucamps.com. Make sure you register under Granbury Church of Christ. The cost for this event will be $25 per teen (for hotel rooms). More information to come.                         

 

Connections Group

The Sawyer Group will meet tonight, October 25, at 6:00pm at the Sawyer home for a potluck dinner. Everyone is invited to attend.
