Benefit Dinner for Aaron McClelen, grandson of Richard and Marla McClelen, at Debbie's Restaurant on Big Bend Trail in Glen Rose, Thursday, October 1, from 5:00pm-8:30pm. Dinner is $10.00.

First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Elders, Neighbors, Encouragers, and United in Christ classes invite visitors and new members who have placed membership since October 2014 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center next Sunday, October 4, immediately following the 10:45 worship service.

 

Piecemakers Quilting Bee – Tuesday, September 29, from 4:00pm-8:00pm, at the Christian Service Center. Bring your own supper. Come when you can, leave when you must.

 

Ladies who have placed membership in the last 12 months are invited to the Ladies’ Newcomer Supper, at the home of Marsha Gilbert, Tuesday, October 6, at 6:30pm. Committee members bring finger foods to share together, and new ladies will be our guests. Please plan to come for fellowship and getting to know each other. Committee members, please try to pick up someone.

 

Men's Fly Fishing Trip to the Little Red River in Arkansas. Leave October 21 and return October 24. Cost is $275 per person and includes accommodations and guide. Contact Mark Hackney at .

 

Wednesday Night Diner – September 30, 5:00pm - 6:00pm. The White Plate special includes Enchilada Casserole, Refried Beans and Spanish Rice, Salad, Roll, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu or Salad is also available for $1 per item.

 

Foster’s Home Workday – October 13 - Meet at the church building at 8:30am, travel to Foster’s Home and work for the houseparents cooking, etc. Bring a sack lunch. The van will return around 1:30pm. If you plan to go this month to help, please call Glenda Fry at 817-573-3244.

 

Connections Groups

The Sawyer Group will meet this evening at 6:00pm at the Sawyer home for a potluck dinner. Everyone is invited to attend.
