Foster's Home: A Day of Celebration

Can you think of a time as a child when you participated in a celebration event for something you had accomplished? Maybe it was an awards assembly, a sports banquet, or a graduation. Likely, family and friends came to celebrate with you, and you felt honored and supported by their presence.

 

The children at Foster’s Home in Stephenville will have such an opportunity at their Children’s Day on Saturday, September 9. The campus, located at 1779 N Graham St. in Stephenville, will be open for tours of their group homes and other facilities at 11:00am, with a barbecue lunch served at noon. During the noon program, the children’s accomplishments at school and in their home life will be celebrated, and the high school seniors will share their goals and dreams for the future.

 

These children will not likely have family present to celebrate with them, so they will be depending on people like us, who partner with Foster’s Home, to be there to support them. Come and see firsthand how God is changing the lives of these children!
