Free Service Provided – John Knox is completing a degree in mental health counseling from Lubbock Christian University. This semester he is offering free counseling services as a part of his practicum. If you know an adult or adolescent who could benefit from counseling, contact John at  or the church office (817-573-2613).

 

Service Opportunity – Every other Monday come join us at the Christian Service Center at 9:45am for coffee and donuts, then stay and help unload the food truck from Tarrant County Food Bank.

 

Ladies’ Class this fall will meet from 9:30-11:00am on Wednesday mornings in Room 5.  We will study Priscilla Shirer's book and video series titled The Armor of God.  I am very excited about this study as it reminds us of the tools God has given us to use as we battle Satan and his influences.  We will be challenged to put these blessings to use in our daily walk. So join us, Wednesday mornings at 9:30am in Room 5.  s/ Marsha Gilbert.

 

Foster’s Home Change Cans - Available on the information tables. Pick up a can, fill it with spare change, and return it to the church office by December 1. 

 

Larry’s Diner -Wednesday, September  21, 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. The White Plate Special includes Pork Chops, Baked Beans, Scalloped Potatoes, Rolls, Salad, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1 per item.

 

First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Neighbors, Encouragers, Elders and Faith-Builders classes invite visitors and new members who have placed membership since October 2015 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center on Sunday, October 2, immediately following the worship service.

To Darrell and Sandra Brown and family at the death of Sandra’s mother, Alice Ellard. Service is pending.

 

To Robbie and Sherri Robertson at the death of their great-granddaughter, Baylee Myers. Funeral was Saturday in Abilene.
