South Texas Hispanic Ministries is in need of all sizes of children’s shoes. Please bring your donations to the Christian Service Center by February 1.

 

First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Neighbors/Encouragers and Faith-Builders classes invite visitors and new members who have placed membership since February 2015 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center next Sunday, February 7, immediately following the 10:45 worship service.

 

Carter Blood Care will be receiving donors in the Fellowship Center on Sunday, February 14, from 9:00am – 12:00pm.

 

Foster’s Home Workday – February 9 - Meet at the church building at 8:30am, travel to Foster’s Home and work for the houseparents cooking, etc. Bring a sack lunch. The van will return around 1:30pm. If you plan to go this month to help, please call Glenda Fry at 817-573-3244.

Game and Potluck Day- Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.

 

Connections Groups

The Rosenquist Group will meet this Sunday, January 31, at 6:00pm at the home of Yvonne Rosenquist. Everyone is invited to attend. Bring finger foods and come to meet, greet and fellowship!

 

The Sawyer Group will meet this Sunday, January 31,  at 6:00pm at the Sawyer home for a potluck dinner. Everyone is invited to attend.

 

GCOC Youth

No Teen Small Group this Sunday night, January 31.

 

Soul Link 2016 – February 26-28 at the Bammel Rd. Church of Christ in Houston. It’s a youth conference where students from all over Texas come for worship, fellowship, outreach, and lessons from some amazing men and women in ministry. The cost is $45 per student.
