To Paul and Janae Moore at the birth of their son, Hudsen Jay Moore.

To David and Tammy Asbill at the birth of their grandson, Bryan Reed Barker. He weighed 6 lbs. 9 oz.

 

You’re invited! Graham Street Church of Christ in Stephenville, TX is hosting Keith Lancaster of Acappella for a Praise and Harmony workshop on February 11-12 (Saturday: 10:00am – noon and Sunday: 9:30am – 11:30am, with a meal to follow). You may attend any part or all of the workshop at no charge. If you plan to attend, please RSVP at 254-965-4510.

 

Carter BloodCare will be receiving donors in the Fellowship Center this Sunday, February 12, from 9:00am – noon.

 

Foster’s Home Workday – Tuesday, February 14 – Meet at the church building at 8:15am, travel to Foster’s Home and work for the houseparents cooking, etc. Bring a sack lunch. The van will return around 2:30pm. If you plan to go this month to help, please call Glenda Fry at 817-573-3244.

 

Larry’s Diner – Wednesday, February 15, 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. The White Plate Special includes Chopped Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Pork & Beans, Rolls, Salad Bar, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1 per item.

 

Foster’s Home Annual Auction – March 3-4 at the Foster’s Home campus. They are in need of furniture, used vehicles, and silent auction items. For more information or to have donations picked up, contact Lacy Barton at or 254-968-2143, ext. 245.

 

Baby Shower for Laura Hoyler Milson, daughter of Donna Jackson, on Sunday, March 12, from 2:00 – 3:30pm at the home of Mickey Allen, 2107 Boca Vista Dr. Laura and Ryan are expecting a boy.

 

The Christian Service Center is no longer accepting donations of clothing, furniture, household items, etc.

 

Free Service Provided – John Knox and Rachel Rouse are offering free counseling services as a part of their degree and licensing programs. If you know someone who could benefit from counseling, contact John at  or the church office (817-573-2613), or Rachel at 806-438-8919.

 

Directory Photos – We would like to have a photo of you for our directory! Over the next few weeks there will be stations around the building on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings that will allow you to have your photo taken (look for a sign on the wall labeled “Photos”). One of our volunteers will quickly take a snapshot, and we will add it to our online directory. If you prefer, you can also submit a photo by emailing it to . If your photo is in the 2014 directory or you have recently had your photo added, there is no need to have another one taken.  If not, or if you want to update your photo, we hope you will take advantage of this opportunity! Once the photography process is completed, you’ll be able to access the updated directory on our website and phone app, and paper copies will be available for pick-up in the church office.

 

Church Staff Retirements - We would like to acknowledge the retirement of Barbara Adams and Rita Powell from our church support staff. Barbara has faithfully served this congregation for almost 34 years! She has worked tirelessly maintaining our financial records with a professional attitude and a sweet spirit. Rita began working for the church in 1996 serving as the church secretary and receptionist. Her smile and kind heart have greeted most everyone that has ever contacted the church. These ladies have been an invaluable asset, and we are extremely grateful for their service. s/ Mark Hackney
