A big “thank you” goes to the ladies who have provided and served the meal for the Hood County First Responders the past two Tuesdays. The response has been fantastic with over 30 people served each week. Your generosity and service is greatly appreciated!

 

You are invited to a Ladies’ Retreat entitled, “My Cup Runneth” with guest speaker, Sharon Finn, on Saturday, October 24, 10:00am-2:00pm at the Southside Church of Christ in Mineral Wells. No charge for the retreat, and lunch is provided. Please RSVP to Virginia Stronks at 817-683-4772.

 

Benefit Dinner for Aaron McClelen, Saturday, October 24, at 5:00pm at Tolar High School. Dinner: Beef Tips, sides, dessert, and drink, $10 for Adults, $8 for children. Also, Silent and Live Auctions.

Wednesday Night Diner – October 21, 5:00pm - 6:00pm. The White Plate special includes Oven Fried Chicken, Parmesan Potatoes, California Vegetables, Salad, Roll, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu or Salad is also available for $1 per item.

 

The Christian Service Center wants to thank you for the plastic bags given to us for the Center to use. However, we are now required to use new bags only and no longer need plastic bags.
