2017 harvest sunday that the world may believe date goal website

In John 17, Jesus prayed for believers of all time, that we would be one as He and God are one. A way we can demonstrate that unity is to join our resources together to fund the work of our mission partners around the world as they strive to tear down the barriers of brokenness, poverty, and a lack of knowledge that Satan erects to obstruct belief in the Lord.

 

The task of reaching the world for Christ can seem so overwhelming, and the amount we can give toward that effort can seem so small and insignificant. We may wonder what difference our meager contribution could possibly make. The following quote reminds us of the power of our unity in Christ.

 

Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.

 

This Harvest Sunday, may we all pool our drops together to form an ocean of life, “that the world may believe.”
