Wedding Shower

Honoring Colton McCoy and Allison Eden – Saturday, April 27, 2:00-3:30pm at the home of Margaret Sawyer (440 Woodcreek Ct.). They are registered at Pottery Barn and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

 

Announcements    

Wednesday Night Diner – 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. This week’s menu includes Tamales (brisket or pork), Chips, Salsa, Salad Bar, Cookie and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1. Proceeds go toward scholarships for youth group activities.

 

Donations Needed! The Light Walkers class (5th & 6th grade) is running a Boxed Cereal Drive to benefit Foster’s Home for Children. If you would like to help, please drop off donations in the bins located near all the major entrances. All cereal brands and flavors are welcome. LTC Parent Meeting – Wednesday, April 17, 7:30pm in the Teen Center

 

Bible Study Tools – Thursday, April 25, 6:30-8:30pm, at Granbury Church of Christ. In keeping with Ray Vander Laan’s encouragement to study scripture from the Hebraic cultural perspective, Bob Spies will lead an interactive teaching session on Hebraic Bible study tools that are available online. Bring electronic media (phone or laptop) if you would like to follow along. Please RSVP to the church office (817-573-2613) by Monday, April 22, if you plan to attend.

 

Spring Fling – Attention Widows and Widowers: Saturday, April 27, will be the annual luncheon hosted by the Victory class in your honor, 11:30am – 1:00pm at Spring Creek BBQ. Please RSVP to Tina in the church office (817-573-2613) by April 15.

 

Piecemakers Quilting Bee – Monday, April 29, 10:00am to 2:00pm in Room 8 at the church building. We work as a group making quilts for various needs. If you would like to join us, just come to the Bee, and we’ll put you to work! For more information, contact Betty Curbo (817-573-7535) or Jamie Skelton (817-279-3724).

 

Ladies’ Newcomer Dinner – Tuesday, April 30, at 6:30pm at the home of Sue Ann Braddock, 4906 Boquillas. The dinner is for all ladies who have become members in the last year. The food will be provided by the hostesses – Sue Ann and her sister, Kerry Carlton. Come enjoy an evening of visiting and getting to know one another!

 

Senior Banquet – Saturday, May 4, 6:00–9:00pm, in the Fellowship Center. Come enjoy this night as we honor the Class of 2019 – Adrienne Hughes, Clayton Jones, Ben Moore, Andrew Walters, and Savannah Welch. Please RSVP to the church office or sign up in Bible class by April 14 if you plan to attend. Gifts for the seniors (with name attached) may be left in the Teen Center for pick-up.

 

Youth Service Projects – Contact Scotty Weaver ( or 817-573-2613) if you need help with a project at your home.

 

Member nametags that were not picked up during the Ray Vander Laan weekend have been placed in our members’ respective Sunday Bible classes or on a table in the front foyer. Please stop by and pick yours up. All members are encouraged to wear their nametags at our assemblies each week.

Game Day – Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.
