Summer Adult Bible Classes

Our summer Bible class quarter begins next Sunday, June 3. For a number of years now, our adult classes have had the option of choosing what they would like to study during the summer months. Some continue with a teacher-led textual study, while others choose something different, such as a topical series or video format.

 

With such a variety of lessons and teaching methods, this summer would also be a good time for class members to branch out and visit another class for the quarter. It would be a great way to get better acquainted with a different segment of our church family. Below is a list of the classes and what they will be studying this summer.

  • Encouragers (Rm. 5): Ray Vander Laan’s Faith Lessons videos
  • Victory (Rm. 7): Living a Life That Matters, led by a rotation of teachers
  • Seekers (Rm. 8): The Word of God for the People of God, by a rotation of teachers
  • United in Christ (Rm. 10): Harold Durham will teach from his latest book, Sharing   God’s Greatest Gift!
  • Faith-Builders (Rm. 11): Randy Harris’ Living Jesus video and Ray Vander Laan’s Faith Lessons video
  • Challengers (Rm. 12): Full and Complete in Christ, taught by Phil Moore
  • Climbers (Rm. 14): Worth It! A Study of 1 Peter, led by Mark Hackney
  • Bridge-Builders (Rm. 16): Malachi: The State of Your Union, taught by Dustin Gist
  • B.A.S.I.C. (Rm. 19): Phillip Yancy’s The Jesus I Never Knew video
  • Path-Finders (Rm. 25A): Topics relating to faith and life, led by a rotation of elders
  • Neighbors (Rm. 25B): Worth It! A Study of 1 Peter, taught by David Berryman and Ray Vander Laan’s Faith Lessons video
