You’re invited! The Community Garden brainstorming and planning meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, February 18, at 9:00am at the Christian Service Center. Please come if you are a gardener or just have some good ideas.

 

Wednesday Night Diner – 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. This week’s menu includes Joe’s Pizza, Chips, Salad Bar, Cookie and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1. Proceeds go toward scholarships for youth group activities.

 

You’re invited! Learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones from financial abuse. A representative of First Financial Bank will present an informational seminar on financial exploitation on Thursday, February 21, 2:00-4:00pm, at the Granbury Church of Christ. The seminar is especially designed for senior adults, but everyone is encouraged to attend.

 

Ladies’ Newcomer Dinner – Thursday, February 21, at 6:30pm at the home of Sara Blevins, 4820 N. Woodcreek Rd. The dinner is for all ladies who have become members in the last year. Committee members will furnish the food. Come enjoy an evening of visiting and getting to know one another!

 

Carter BloodCare will be receiving donors in the Fellowship Center on Sunday, February 24, from 8:30am – 12:30pm.

 

Piecemakers Quilting Bee – Monday, February 25, 10:00am to 2:00pm in Room 8 at the church building. We work as a group making quilts for various needs. If you would like to join us, just come to the Bee, and we’ll put you to work! For more information, contact Betty Curbo (817-573-7535) or Jamie Skelton (817-279-3724).

 

Foster’s Home Annual Auction – March 1 – 2. Includes box lots at 6:00pm Friday, and on Saturday an outdoor auction at 9:00am, free BBQ lunch at 11:30am, and live and silent auction at 12:30pm. For more info or to have donations picked up, contact Lacy Barton at or 254-968-2143, ext. 245.

 

First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Challengers, Bridge-Builders, and Faith-Builders classes invite guests and new members who have placed membership since March 2018 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center on Sunday, March 3, right after the 10:15 worship service.

 

Volunteer Needed – To coordinate GCOC volunteers in providing lunch once a semester at the campus ministry at Tarleton State University. Please contact Robbie jFrancis if you would be interested in serving as the coordinator for this ministry.

Game Day – Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.
