Wednesday Night Diner Closing

After 19 years of faithful service, Larry’s Wednesday Night Diner is closing its doors. We bid a fond farewell to th White Plate Special, the sweet tea and the 50 cent dessert.  Larry Glover, who has served our church family faithfully for two decades, has chosen to untie his apron strings and put down his spoon. 

 

His tireless service has provided wholesome meals for generations of families.  We thank and salute our good and faithful servant for all his loving kindness in sharing his talent and skill with our church family.  We will think of him fondly every time we open a can of Rotel or unwrap a brick of cream cheese, his favorite ingredients. 

 

Larry will continue to man the kitchen for Cornerstone Christian Academy, the Optimist Club, and special church events, so we will see him often.  When we do, let’s remember to thank him for all his kindness in sharing his gifts with our church family all these years.
