Sisterly Love

It all began twenty-five years ago as a group of ladies at the Granbury Church of Christ looked for a practical way to live out the instruction given in Titus 2 for older women to teach the younger women. Thus, a new program called Motherly Love was born and has continued every year since.

 

Historically, Motherly Love has provided child-free evenings out during the   summer for our young mothers. Recently, the ML planning committee came to realize the need to expand the ministry to include young women below the age of 50 from all walks of life – whether single or married, mothers or not. To reflect this expansion of focus, the name of the ministry has been changed to Sisterly Love. The gatherings will still be filled with good food, conversation, laughter, speakers addressing relevant topics, and prayer – a time of mentoring and encouragement   especially designed for young women of God.

 

This ministry is funded exclusively by donations from individuals in the congregation. If you would like to help, you can give your donation to Margaret Sawyer or drop it by the church office.
