Larry’s Diner – Wednesday, May 24, 5:00–6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. The White Plate Special includes Roast, Potatoes, Salad Bar, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1 per item.
Piecemakers Quilting Bee (last Tuesday of the month) – May 30, from 4:00pm-8:00pm, at the Christian Service Center. Bring your own supper. Experience is not necessary. Time is spent working together piecing quilts to be donated. If you have questions, contact Betty Curbo, Becky Roberts or Jamie Skelton.
Summer Break! The Tuesday lunch served to the Hood County First Responders each week will be suspended for the summer, beginning in June, and will resume in the fall.
Disaster Relief – If you would like to help victims of the Canton area tornadoes, you can give directly to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort online at www.disasterreliefeffort.org or give a check to the church office made payable to “Granbury Church of Christ” with “disaster relief” written on the memo line.
Free Service Provided – John Knox and Rachel Rouse are offering free counseling services as a part of their degree and licensing programs. If you know someone who could benefit from counseling, contact John at or the church office (817-573-2613), or Rachel at 806-438-8919.
