Baby Shower

For Micah Everly Burns, daughter of Josh and Kelly Burns and granddaughter of Jim and Beverly Sargent, on Sunday, July 16, 2:30–4:30pm, at the home of Betsy Dennis, 3415 Abe’s Landing Ct. Diapers (Pamper Swaddlers), formula (Similac ProAdvance with Iron), and other gifts welcome. Gift cards from Target only, please (the only large store in their area).

 

Announcements    

Service Opportunity – The Glen Rose Regional Texas Mission of Mercy is hosting a free dental clinic at Glen Rose High School on July 21-22. Volunteers are needed to help with various tasks at the clinic. (Jonna Eccles will be volunteering, so you can contact her for more information.) Go to tmomvolunteer.org to volunteer.

 

Piecemakers Quilting Bee – Tuesday, July 25, from 4:00pm-8:00pm, at the Christian Service Center. Bring your own supper. Experience is not necessary. Time is spent working together piecing quilts to be donated. If you have questions, contact Betty Curbo or Jamie Skelton.

 

Free Service Provided – John Knox and Rachel Rouse are offering free counseling services as a part of their degree and licensing programs. If you know someone who could benefit from counseling, contact John at  or the church office (817-573-2613), or Rachel at 806-438-8919.

 

Connections Groups

The Sawyer Group will meet Sunday, July 23, at 6:00pm at the Sawyer home for a potluck dinner. Everyone is invited to attend.

Game and Potluck Day – Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.
