Spanish Classes Offered – Jan Vernon will be teaching two Spanish classes for adults at Lakeside Baptist Academy this year – Tuesdays 9:00-10:30am and Thursdays 6:00-7:30pm. These classes are every other week, and cost $10 per class. To register, contact LBA at 817-579-8325. For more information, contact Jan Vernon at 432-349-4813.

 

Ladies’ Class this fall – September 7 will be the first day of our Ladies’ Class for the 2016-2017 session. We will meet from 9:30-11:00am on Wednesday mornings in Room 5.  We will study Priscilla Shirer's book and video series titled The Armor of God.  I am very excited about this study as it reminds us of the tools God has given us to use as we battle Satan and his influences.  We will be challenged to put these blessings to use in our daily walk. So join us, Wednesday morning, September 7, at 9:30am in Room 5.  s/ Marsha Gilbert.

 

Larry’s Diner is coming back! Beginning Wednesday, September 7, 5:00-6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. The White Plate Special includes King Ranch Casserole, Charro Beans, Rice, Chips, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1 per item.

 

Pantry Sunday - In honor of Larry Parker, we will have a Pantry Sunday next  week, September 11. Pick up a grocery bag from your classroom or one of the information tables today, fill it with the items listed on the bag, then place it on the stage in the Worship Center next Sunday.

 

Foster’s Home Change Cans - Available on the information tables. Pick up a can , fill it with spare change, and return it to the church office by December 1.
