Baby Shower

For Hudsen Moore, son of Paul & Janae Moore, on Sunday, April 9, from 2:00–3:30pm at the home of Heather Blevins, 1302 M & M Ranch Ct. Diapers, wipes, and other consumables are welcome.

 

Announcements   

First Sunday Welcome Lunch – The Elders and the Climbers and United in Christ classes invite visitors and new members who have placed membership since April 2016 to be their guests for lunch in the Dining Hall of the Fellowship Center on Sunday, April 2, immediately following the 10:15 worship service.

 

Larry’s Diner – Wednesday, April 5, 5:00–6:15pm, in the Fellowship Center. The White Plate Special includes Pork Chop, Potato Casserole, Green Beans, Roll, Salad Bar, Dessert and Drink for $5. Kid-friendly menu is also available for $1 per item.

 

Ladies are invited to a Ladies’ Day at Hico Church of Christ – Saturday, April 8, 9:00am–noon, followed by a salad luncheon. Melissa Poling of Wichita Falls will speak on the theme of Restore My Soul. For more information, call 254-796-4848.

 

Foster’s Home Workday – April 11 – Meet at the church building at 8:15am, travel to Foster’s Home and work for the houseparents cooking, etc. Bring a sack lunch. The van will return around 2:30pm. If you plan to go and help this month, please call Glenda Fry at 817-573-3244.

 

Ladies’ Newcomer Supper – Monday, April 24, 6:30pm, at the home of Kitty Wasemiller, 6408 Inverness Rd. in Pecan Plantation. For all ladies who have been members of GCOC for a year or less. Finger foods will be provided by the ladies on the committee. Please carpool as you can.

 

You’re invited to a free concert by the acappella gospel group Revival on Sunday, April 30, at 1:30pm at the Cross Timbers Church of Christ in Stephenville. For more information, contact Reece Cary at 903-818-7127.

 

Senior Banquet – Saturday, May 6, 6:00pm–8:00pm, in the Fellowship Center. Come enjoy this night as we honor the Class of 2017. If you plan to attend, please RSVP at www.granburycoc.net by April 9.

 

Save the Date! Attention Widows and Widowers: Saturday, May 20, will be the annual luncheon hosted by the Victory class in your honor. Check-in will be at 11:30am, with lunch served at noon, followed by a time of entertainment. More details to come.

 

Free Service Provided – John Knox and Rachel Rouse are offering free counseling services as a part of their degree and licensing programs. If you know someone who could benefit from counseling, contact John at  or the church office (817-573-2613), or Rachel at 806-438-8919.

Game and Potluck Day – Each Thursday beginning at noon in the Parlor. Bring a sack lunch and your favorite game and join us for a fun afternoon.
